    of GLENTEL Inc (TSX: GLN) for over 25 years. 


    Founder of WIRELESSWAVE brand in 1997, which grew to over 150 stores across Canada. Along with the other GLENTEL brands – TBooth and Wireless Etc – grew to over 350 stores across Canada. Through Thomas’ leadership and strategic vision, GLENTEL expanded to operate more than 1,400 stores in Canada, the United States, Australia and the Philippines. 

    With more than 40 years of entrepreneurial and operational experience, built and sold numerous businesses and has extensive public and private company board experience. Involved in growing two franchise systems: TCGI (Speedy, Novus, Apple Auto Glass) and WirelessZone (Verizon dealer). 


    Named EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2013 by Ernst & Young as the President and CEO of GLENTEL Inc. Recipient of the Queen's medal commemorating Her Majesty's 60th Anniversary. An active member on the Advisory Board of Salvation Army BC South region and was the Chair of the Advisory Board for more than 10 years. In 2014, Skidmore was inducted into the Salvation Army’s Order of Distinguished Service, their highest world award. Served on the Board of BC Women's Hospital Foundation for 12 years.

    with GLENTEL over 20 years.


    Expertise in retail and distribution with wide and diverse experience in all areas of sales, operations, business development and marketing. For more than 15 years, led all GLENTEL retail and corporate marketing initiatives, merchandising, brand development and store design for WIRELESSWAVE and Tbooth wireless. With executive team opened the very first WIRELESSWAVE store @ Metropolis at Metrotown in 1997. Rebranded Tbooth wireless in 2005 and launched Wireless Etc. kiosks into Costco Warehouses across Canada. Senior leadership in GLENTEL's acquisitions and expansion into United States and Australia. 


    Prior to GLENTEL, worked for Speedy Auto Glass, Autostock International,  Glenayre Technologies Inc., and Page Canada in a variety of operational, sales and marketing positions.


    For many years has been a volunteer board member, committee lead and a chairperson for non-profit and charity organizations including Cityreach Care Society partnered with World Vision's Ending Child Poverty, The Warehouse and Broadway Lodge.

    Chartered Professional Accountant, holding a CPA, CA designation. Bachelor of Business with concentrations in Accounting and Finance, Simon Fraser University. Over 20 years of domestic and international public and private company financial leadership and operational experience with significant experience in public company requirements, mergers and acquisitions, bank financing, treasury management, leading a fast-paced growth company, financial and operational management, project management, team building and relationship management. 


    Named BC CFO of the Year by BIV in 2014 and named CFO of the Year by Finance Monthly Magazine in 2015 and 2016.

    Past Director of Finance of GLENTEL Inc. 


    Spent 17 years with GLENTEL, working in progressively responsible leadership roles. Brings over 25 years of business, finance, and operational leadership experience in the retail, wholesale, and service industries. Played a key role in a successful divisional turnaround and led a number of M&A initiatives. Chartered Professional Accountant, holding a CPA, CMA designation. 

     
    Prior to GLENTEL, spent 9 years at Mohawk Oil Canada, managing the finance functions for over 300 corporate and franchise retail fuel and convenience stores and the bulk/wholesale fuel business.
